This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how personal data of visitors and users of aida.international (the “Website”) and the AIDA assistant (the “Service”) is collected, processed, stored and protected. It is drawn up in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”) and the applicable laws of the Republic of Latvia.
The Controller ensures the confidentiality of personal data and takes appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect it from unauthorized access, loss or alteration.

We process data only where there is a lawful basis under Art. 6 GDPR:
Cookies and local storage are small data files placed on your device. On your first visit a cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies; until you accept, analytics and advertising run in a cookieless mode (Google Consent Mode v2) and no such cookies are set. You can change your choice anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer, or in your browser.
5.1. Strictly necessary — basic functionality and security (CSRF protection of the lead form, your saved language and consent choice, chat session). Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — no consent required.

Your data is primarily processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). Where a transfer outside the EEA is necessary (e.g. to Google), we rely on an European Commission adequacy decision (Art. 45), Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46), or another lawful basis under Art. 49 GDPR.
Under Art. 15–22 GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction, data portability, and to object to processing, as well as to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email hello@aida.international. You may also lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, CSRF protection, rate limiting and bot filtering — to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.
